Yenko/SC Camaro Performance
This engine scream high performance, SVE has taken the factory 6.2 liter/376 cubic inch LT1 and bored it out to 6.8 liter/416 cubic inches. The LT-1 aluminum block has been blueprinted with a computer balance rotating assembly. The bottom was upgraded with a forged 4340 steel crankshaft and H-beam connecting rods linking to forged aluminum pistons. The stock LT1 cylinder heads have been CNC ported and polished and the oiling of the internals is done by a dry sump oil system. On top of all that is a 2.9 liter twin screw custom built supercharger with the Yenko/Camaro name present. To keep this monster adequately feed, SVE borrowed the injectors and fuel system from the 650 horsepower LT4. The results are a monstrous 800 horsepower at around 6,200 rpms and 750 lb-ft of torque around 4,200 rpms. That's almost double that of the stock numbers, which are 455 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. The engine dyno graph below shows the power curve compared to stock. To top it all off, this beast has a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty.
